ROUTE The Route system is yet another modern-day track lighting system. It's similar to Construct in shape and concept. The main difference being that Route is a 120V system thus no remote power supply is required. There are 3 components required to make up a lighting system with Route: the aluminum channels, connectors/power feeds and the lighting fixtures. There are 3 different types of aluminum channels to choose from: recessed trimless, surface mount or pendant mount. Various power and connector accessories allow you to configure your channel design in various 90° shapes. Lighting fixtures snap, twist and lock into place at the back of the aluminum channel. Within the Route System, power originates from the 120V line that is brought to the power joints. These accessories have a steel box to accommodate the incoming power and a 6' tail with a molex connector to connect to the first fixture. As all the light fixtures have a lead on each end, power runs from one fixture to another. At the end of installation the black lens is cut and installed between the fixtures to hide the wires at the back of the channel.
