POSITION SUMMARY: We’re looking for a driven and technically capable Sales Engineer to support the continued growth of our electric heating product line. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with relationship-driven sales. You’ll work closely with distributors, contractors, builders, and project stakeholders to promote, specify, and grow our heating solutions across multiple markets. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective accounts
- Promote and drive specification of the company’s heating product line into projects
- Lead customer meetings, product presentations, and technical training sessions
- Identify new business opportunities and expand territory presence
- Travel regularly to support customers and strengthen market coverage
- Collaborate with internal sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution
- Represent the company at customer events, trade shows, and industry functions
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Electrical Engineering strongly preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of technical sales experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to clearly explain technical products to diverse audiences
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing a travel schedule
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50%
- A proactive, relationship-focused professional with strong commercial instincts
- Confidence presenting technical products in both one-on-one and group settings
- A team player with a growth mindset and high accountability
- Comfortable working onsite while spending significant time in the field
