Ronda, in balance

Details in Design continues with Ronda, a collection shaped by the challenge of bringing opposing materials into alignment.

Solid alabaster, dense and organic, is held within elongated metal cylinders, controlled and architectural. The result is a measured balance where each material retains its identity while contributing to a unified expression.

Light becomes the mediator. It moves through stone, settles beneath each form, and reveals the quiet complexity within.

Ronda does not simplify material. It resolves it.

Material in Tension

Ronda is built on a deliberate juxtaposition. Weight and restraint. Organic and engineered.

Each cylinder contains a carved alabaster core, suspended within a rigid metal structure. Proportions are carefully resolved to maintain clarity, allowing neither element to overpower the other.

In chandelier configurations, varied pendant lengths introduce a staggered vertical rhythm, creating movement without disorder.

Balance is achieved through control.

Carved Stone

Each alabaster element is cut from natural stone, revealing subtle veining unique to every piece.

The material is treated as volume, not surface. Light enters, diffuses, and lingers within, exposing depth that cannot be replicated.

No two pieces are identical. Variation is inherent and intentional.

Light, Above and Below

Ronda’s illumination operates in layers.

Alabaster emits a soft internal glow, while a focused downlight defines the space below. Diffused and directed light work together, creating warmth with clarity.

The result is controlled, balanced, and atmospheric.

Depth in Tone

Ronda is offered in Weathered Brass and Harlow Bronze for interior applications, while Matte Black is reserved for outdoor wall sconces.
