Privacy

Eurofase recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of visitors to the site. This site is accessible without a requirement to reveal personal information. Our web servers collect IP addresses, not the email addresses, of visitors. Personally-identifying information is not collected except when it is voluntarily provided (for example, when you contact us by email or request additional information). This site is not intended for persons under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from or about children, and we do not knowingly market our products or services to children.

Use of Voluntarily Provided Information

Domain name information that we collect is not used to identify you and instead is aggregated to statistically measure the number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages most viewed, etc. Eurofase uses this information to measure the usage of the site and to improve the content of the site. Eurofase may share the personal information provided with other companies we have hired to provide services for us. These companies – our vendors – are contractually bound to use personal information we share with them only to perform the services we have hired them to provide. Eurofase does not share, sell, or lease personal information to any third parties. Eurofase will release information about you if you direct us to do so, if required by law to do so, or in other legally limited circumstances (for example, to protect your account from fraud).

Access to Collected Information

You may review and update the information that you provide to Eurofase through this site by contacting us as described below. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request that we delete your personal information, correct inaccurate data, or provide you with a copy of the information we hold about you. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what categories of personal information we have collected, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (Eurofase does not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Eurofase operates in both Canada and the United States. Your personal information may be stored or processed in either country. If you are a Canadian resident, please be aware that personal information transferred to the United States may be subject to access by U.S. law enforcement or regulatory authorities under U.S. law. We take reasonable steps to ensure that any such transfers are handled in accordance with applicable privacy legislation, including Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec Law 25.

Cookies

As most sites do, this site uses cookies. A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a web site’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive. We use cookies to understand how visitors use our site and to improve your experience. The showroom and Sales Representative locator on our website will send a contact request to the showroom or Sales Representative of your choice. We do not check the information submitted by you; we simply pass on your enquiry directly to the source selected.

SMS / Text Messaging

Eurofase offers SMS text messaging to keep you informed about your orders and account activity. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive informational text messages from Eurofase. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP or email us at eurofasecc@eurofase.com. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Canadian residents: replying STOP constitutes withdrawal of your express consent under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Contact and inquiry records are generally kept for up to three years from your last interaction with us. SMS opt-in consent records are retained for a minimum of three years following the last message sent. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

Security of Personal Information

No data transmission over the internet, or by other means, can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While Eurofase strives to protect your personally-identifying information, Eurofase cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information transmitted to us. Once your personally-identifying information is received, we use reasonable efforts to ensure it is held securely and not readily available to unauthorized individuals or third parties. In the event of a data breach that poses a real risk of harm to you, we will notify you and the applicable regulatory authority as required by law.
