At the core of this series is a shared set of touchpoints: material, finish, and the way illumination behaves across a surface. Light is approached not simply as output, but as an architectural element that interacts with stone, glass, and metal to define mood and character.

The 2026 Eurofase collection is guided by this belief. Across exterior environments, light is designed to support architecture rather than compete with it, allowing material and form to remain at the forefront.

This week, we bring that design-first approach into focus through Sternn.

The Idea

Sternn is defined by restraint. Designed as an outdoor wall sconce, it balances presence with clarity, allowing material and proportion to lead the experience. A luminous glass cylinder rests against a minimal backplate, creating a composed silhouette that feels architectural rather than purely decorative.

The design relies on contrast rather than complexity. Solid stone grounds the fixture, while glass introduces softness and illumination. Whether elongated or compact, Sternn remains composed, offering structure without visual noise.

Material

Material selection is central to Sternn’s identity. Travertine and marble introduce natural variation, grounding the fixture within exterior architecture and allowing each installation to feel subtly unique. Steel provides strength and definition, reinforcing the fixture’s clean geometry.

Clear glass, painted white on the interior, refines the light output while maintaining a crisp exterior appearance. Smooth, Wave, and Ribbed glass options offer variation in texture and diffusion, allowing the fixture to respond differently to light and shadow without altering its form.

Light in the Environment

Illumination in Sternn is warm, even, and controlled. The integrated 3000K LED creates a glow that enhances surrounding surfaces rather than projecting outward aggressively. Light settles naturally into stone, masonry, and architectural planes, contributing to atmosphere while maintaining clarity and comfort.

Designed for outdoor use, Sternn provides visibility and presence without harshness, supporting exterior spaces after dark with a calm, considered glow.

Refinement

Refinement in Sternn is found in proportion and alignment. The relationship between glass, stone, and metal was carefully adjusted to ensure balance at every scale. Small refinements in dimension and placement shaped the final rhythm of the piece, with restraint guiding every decision.

Even across multiple material and glass variations, the fixture maintains a consistent visual language, reinforcing its disciplined design approach.

Where It Belongs

Sternn integrates naturally into exterior architecture. It works seamlessly along building facades, entryways, corridors, and transitional outdoor spaces, where it can define structure without distraction.

Its simplicity allows it to complement both contemporary and minimal exteriors, anchoring outdoor walls through material contrast rather than ornament.

The Detail

Up close, Sternn reveals its precision. Clean transitions between stone and metal, the subtle texture of the glass, and the controlled depth of the light all contribute to a sense of quiet confidence. Every element supports the whole, reinforcing clarity and balance.
